Yesterday, Flex 2 public Beta 2 was made available at Adobe Labs. Also on March 16, public beta of Flash player 8.5 was released. I haven’t checked the players but it seems Flex 2 beta is also dated March 16th. This time Mac/Linux version of the free Framework SDK is also available.
Personally, this means I’ll have to finally – and reluctantly- install Java runtime on my main machine. I’ve never been a fan of Java and avoided it as much as I can till this day
