Just heard (via FlashGuru) that one of the best Flash resource sites out there, ActionScript.org was hacked. It’s refreshing to hear that they will be back up soon and had a backup.
The funny (or not so funny) thing is that they were hacked by ‘neo-Livemotion Militia’.
Guy Watson, FlashGuru, says ‘What is this world coming to? Do we have a Flash MX 2004 Militia? Nope, didnt think so.’
Dave Emberton at ActionScript.com has a post about this too.
Also RobertPenner.com, home of Robert Penner, author of ‘Robert Penner’s Programming Macromedia Flash MX’ and famous ‘Easing Equations’, a well known guru in Flash world seems hacked, by some ‘Zarro hacker’…
Update (January 16, 2004):
I received a few emails asking for how it looked lke when RobertPenner.com was hacked. Here’s a screenshot:

Update (January 28, 2004):
FlashGroup.co.uk was hacked! (more info at actionscript.com). I’m glad their database is intact.
Just had a look at the source of the page the hacker put at robertpenner.com. Created by Frontpage 4.0! Oh my…
Good news: RobertPenner.com is back up!
Note: http://www.actionscript.org/ returned on January 18 as far as I remember. So everthing’s back in order now.
