Flash Player 7.0r19

Macromedia today released Flash Player 7.0r19 (previous version was 7.0r14).

You can get the latest plug-in at http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer

There are many improvements and bug fixes. Release notes are available here.

    The flash player is not supposed to update itself automatically?

    Yes, but not in every case. First of all it’s a Windows only feature. With this release more browsers are supported (Mozzilla, Netscape and Opera – previously only IE and AOL). (Also debugging and Standalone players don’t have the auto update feature).
    It also depends on what interval you had set the player to check for the update.
