A timely release indeed, go to http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/downloads.html for 16 MB (win) / 26 MB (Mac) download.
There is also 30 day extension for updater evaluations: ‘ If you have already downloaded the trial version of Flash MX 2004 and your 30 day trial has expired, you can extend your trial by an additional 30 days.’ This is only available until 31 December 2003 and achieved by entering a new serial number available at here.
It turns out that the name of Flash was longer: Flash MX 7.0 professional 2004 and it’s now a little longer: Flash MX 7.0.1 professional 2004 (So it’s not 7.1 but 7.0.1).
Some info about the updater was available at Community MX earlier.

Well, the updater didn’t like my Flash.exe so I’m downloading the new updated trial right now
Thanks for the link.
I WANNA THE FLASH 2004 SERIAL NUMBER .PLEASE .. ESAM
Flash MX 2004 uses activation. That means, if you have a valid serial number, you can activate only if it hasn’t been activated already. (You can activate 2 copies with one number, and deactivate your installation(s) when necessary, but this is irrelevant for now).
So a serial number won’t help. I’d recommend purchasing the software, in any case.
does flash MX ’02 have that activation thing?
No, Flash MX (version 6) does not have activation feature.
On July 27, 2004, Flash MX 2004 7.2 updater was released. Read more at:
